Rocky Mountain Saab Club

Dave and I drove in his saab over to Breckenridge Brewery, at 7 pm. We walked in to the brewery and a waiter walk up to us and said "Saab?" LOL we "Yep" follow me , so we were taken to a private back room. We walked in and I had not seen so many old people in a room! Average age was 60 years of age! Jerry Danner came up and said " you made it " . the Bruce the president walked up and introduced himself .

- We took up seats at the bar !

-Dave said to me "this is our crowd!" LOL

So the meeting was called to order :

- Bruce then introduced us as the new young guys!

Dave and I told the group what type of Saab's we drove and the year !

Then Bruce discussed that they we were going to vote for a new board of directors.

(there are seven board members)

Turns out jerry had put me on the ballot !

So we voted -

Dave and I knew none of the players involved !

(i randomly selected) I did vote for Jerry and Bruce was staying on.

So then we handed in the ballots and two of the members walked out of the room and counted votes!

They came back in then : the name were called : Turns out I was the last to get called ,but got the most votes!

I got 16 votes out of 34 people who attended this meeting!

So I am now on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Saab Club!

Them we watch a slide show of the convention .

Dave and I both came up with the conclusion that we both should have been there!

The were giving away parts that were worth $200.

So Dave and I we so bummed.

Then we talked with different members and , spoke with Jerry and Bruce!

So thats what happened !

It was a great night!

We Took our Bikes to Red Rocks and did 3 hours of MT Biking. The ride was amazing and very windy!

WOW! Looks like you guys have been having a blast!

This is my new dorm Room! This place is the Bomb! Eli and I watch a movie called "Life" Staring Will Smith!

1988 Saab 900

Wow Every time I see one or Get in one or Drive one, I get the feeling of Power , Control and Style!

Here a little info on the car:

1988 Saab 900 turbo car for sale. It's a 2 door hatchback and the body is in good shape with only a rust spot on the front of the hood and a slight dent over the rear driver side wheel well. Inside is very nice and clean. Has a sunroof, power locks and air condition. The car is in running condition, but has a problem with third gear. asking $600.

Well Dave Saw this and came running in to my room and said "let go check this thing out"!

So This morning at 8 am Dave and I pile in to His 1997 Saab 900.(BTW: this is the only generation of Saab I have not been in) Wow what a treat! Wake up and get to go ride in a Saab! (I know Most of you could care less ) But These cars handle better than anything out there to this day!

So we Drive 15 Mins To Westminster.

I have my Laptop to I was review my Saab 900 notes.( Study Guild) for this trip!

SO we got to the 1988 Saab 900 house (Bill) , (From what I understood was Bill was a guy who was trying to get rid of his Saab ).(well he was) Bill lives on a Culled Sac And So we had to drive past his house to get on the right side of the street. As we drove pass I was like S$%t, There was another 900 turbo in the driveway. (You See, Dave and I had a plan too crack this guy to drop the price.The Plan: Dave was going to take pictures and I was going to get in to a technical conversation and try to lose the guy) I got real worried,"Dave I hope this guy is not a Saab Guy" We walked up to the Sliver 900!

Today was off to a slow start! none of the Young Adults(kids) get up early! So if you get up when the Sun does you are alone for awhile , good time to work on homework and read Books. Today's plan was to go to Target and maybe Costco. This was planed 2 days ago! Well we finely left at 3:20pm. We got back at 4:30pm and Eli and Sara and myself took off towards the Soccer field. The Ranger's were having there first soccer game! WOW!! These guys are good !
